Merritt Island, FL (March 14, 2016) – The 75th running of the Daytona 200 took place this Saturday and Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant made a massive statement by claiming the top four finishing positions – including the overall win by Michael Barnes. Barnes, no stranger to the sport of Road Racing, piloted his Palm Beach Police Foundation/Prieto Performance Yamaha YZF-R6 to the fastest lap time of the race (1:50.791), led 46 of the 57 laps and won the race by a 10 second margin.

“I’m kind of speechless and fumbling for words,” explained Barnes from the winner’s circle. “All of the people who helped me … you know who you are. I just can’t thank everybody enough. This one is for quite a few people.”

Second overall went to Geoff May, third place was Wyatt Farris and Shane Narbonne took the fourth position. All four riders were riding Yamaha YZF-R6 bikes and all four were relying on Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant.

“This is a great victory for Michael and our Engine Ice coolant,” said Dave Kimmey, Owner of CycleLogic Products, manufacturer of Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant. “It’s a major accomplishment to sweep the podium – and follow up with a fourth place finish as well. This is a solid validation why Engine Ice is the number one selling coolant in the powersports industry. Congratulations to all four riders!”
