Aranda, Brayton, Gutish & Webb

Merritt Island, FL (November 09, 2015) – The 2015 racing season is winding down but our Engine Ice-sponsored riders are still racing, winning, and grabbing podiums across the globe

Leipzig, Germany:
Engine Ice-sponsored Greg Aranda of Sturm Racing dominated the Leipzig, Germany “King of Extreme” supercross by winning every heat and the main event plus the “Superfinal” in which the top six of SX1 and SX2 are combined for one Superfinal race. Aranda put together a series of great starts in front of sold-out crowds, quickly passing for the lead if he didn’t already have it. He then stretched out his leads to four and five seconds over the next competitor by the time the checkered flag waved.

Meanwhile, in Genoa, Italy, Justin Brayton on his BTOSports.com KTM, sponsored by Engine Ice, came up just short of total domination this weekend by going wire-to-wire to win the SX1 heat #1 and then, in heat 2, Brayton went down, giving up his chances at the SX1 overall win, but redeemed himself by winning Genoa’s Superfinal.

Boise, Idaho:

unnamed3Rachel Gutish has been on a bit of a tear the last few months and Saturday night at the GEICO EnduroCross she was tearing up the competition. Gutish, a member of the Engine Ice-sponsored KTM/RPM Racing team, pushed hard through the pack in her main event, taking the lead on the last lap and the overall win. Gutish is now in control of the points lead and, with another solid ride, should clinch the title in two weeks at the final round.

And… although it wasn’t the top step, KTM/RPM Racing’s Cody Webb was on the podium again, this time with a solid second place finish at the Idaho round of the GEICO EnduroCross. With only one round left, Webb has a 10-point lead over Colton Haaker and, with some smart riding, he should wrap up the title in two weeks when EnduroCross completes its season in Ontario, California.
